Hiya Mel,

Is it my part of the Country you're coming home to next week? Shame your Aunt's not well. I hope Addenbrookes are looking after her well.

We had snow this morning until it rained.

Hi Mel,

Newmarket is a lovely place, lots of horses! Have you ever been to the Rowley Mile Racecourse? I've only been when there was a motor show on. When I was younger I used to go to "De Niro's" Nightclub, half way down the High Street. Not sure its still called that. Out of interest, which hotel did you work at? The Bedford Lodge springs to mind?

I'd forgotten your brother works in Paediatrics at Addenbrookes. The lifts are just outside, so I may have seen him without realising. As if Addenbrookes isn't big enough already, they told me they're intending to build a separate children's hospital on the site, on a par with great Ormond Street, so that the old hospital will be just for adults. They're also going to rebuild Papworth Heart Hospital over there and a hotel. It will be like Addenbrookes Village! Heaven knows where everyone will park.

Its sunny here today and only a little bit of frost, so hopefully no more snow.

Hi Mel,

Its all coming back to me now, De Niro's was called Paccino's (not sure of spelling) when I went there. I know Moons cycle/toy shop. Used to go there when children were younger.

I've been to Bury St. Edmunds a few times, but don't know it that well. I usually go to Cambridge - more shops!

Hi Mel, have a lovely time away and enjoy a well deserved break. Three years ago for my Ma's 70th my siblings and I clubbed together and sent her off to Australia to see an old friend, being 6 of us the cost was easier to manage. She loves travelling so much that she's actually over in Oz now, and get around more than I canLOL LOL

love,

Barbara

Oh I love Baldwins too! I do an order every few months from there. I have so many herbal tinctures in my drawer! LOL

Hope your Aunt gets the help she needs and I am sorry to hear of your Dad's flare.

I am sure you'll love the weekend and celebrating your Mam's 70th!

Amanda
